It’s not about having the time but about making the time
When you think you will never be able to incorporate fitness into your busy and hectic day you can! Have a look at your day; where can you make the time? You may not be able to manage to do a full session at the gym but a 5km run or 20 minute HIIT workout maybe more realistic. Aim to incorporate fitness in your routine 3 times a week, once it becomes habit you may find you want to commit to more days or longer sessions.
Don’t focus on what you are giving up but on what you are going to gain
This motivational quote is my mantra when things aren’t going to plan. When it’s a cold dark morning, when I’ve had a bad run, when I’m not able improve on a personal best or when I’m getting nowhere with my training. When I get to that stage and wonder what the point of it all is I think of this quote. Instead of throwing in the towel I focus on what I will gain from it all; dropping that dress size, feeling fitter and healthier by carrying on makes it all worth it!
Are there any quotes that motivate you to keep going? To push yourself harder?
